Richard V. Horrell

WW2Connections, LLC was created by Richard V. Horrell in 2002, whose interest in WW 2 was a passion for more than 25 years.  His father lost fingers on his right hand in WW2 at Monte Cassino, Italy, and this became a constant reminder as Richard grew up.  His father sparked his passion with stories of his wartime trials and tribulations, along with some of the greatest days of his life!

Richard graduated from Webster College in 1977, now known as Webster University in Webster Groves, Mo. - a suburb of St. Louis.  He majored in 19th and 20th Century European History.  During the 1990's through 2001, Richard had worked on special events with the late Dr. Stephen Ambrose.  These events included the 100th Anniversary of Eisenhower's Birth in Abilene Kansas, and events to open sections of the D-Day Museum in New Orleans.

Today Richard takes all his passion for WW 2 History and directs it into the profiles that he researches and creates for his clients.  His clients share with him the desire to remember what these men and women did for us 60 years ago.
